Bernard Gauthier, PhD brings more than 40 years of professional communication experience to each workshop he presents. His work includes communication of all kinds in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Training participants across the country and around the world have benefited from Bernard’s deeply informed and original perspectives on communication and how it can be improved. As a communication trainer for the last 30 years, Bernard has developed and offered a wide range of workshops on topics including strategic communication planning, crisis communication, media relations and public speaking.
His workshop participants benefit from Bernard’ unique blend of rigorous research, deep and varied experience and engaging delivery style. Bernard has also taught in undergraduate programs in communications and public relations for nearly 30 years, helping thousands of students prepare for a career in the field. He holds a PhD in Communications from Carleton University and is the author of Strategic Communication in Canada, published by Canadian Scholars Press in 2018.
