Josef Jurkovic is a founder of the CEC. He has over 40 years of public and private sector experience across diverse areas of internal and external communications, media relations, stakeholder and public consultations, branding and marketing. In over 30 years as a trainer, coach, facilitator and consultant, Josef has undertaken projects for over three hundred government, business and non-governmental organizations in Canada and abroad. Josef is a specialist in public sector re-branding and has worked on major re-positioning projects with many federal government agencies, provincial governments and municipalities. His ongoing interests include the link between internal communications and employee engagement, across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. While Josef no longer delivers CEC workshops, he serves as the CEC Managing Director and senior advisor on all aspects of the CEC operations and professional development activities.
Josef has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Public Relations Society and of the Executive Board of the Canadian Society for Training and Development, Ottawa-Gatineau chapters.
